Mike Donitzen came out and did an initial home inspection including air quality testing for extensive mold due to a water intrusion in our basement. He ended up failing our house twice, prior to it passing. While incredibly frustrating that it did not pass the first time, Mike did not cut corners and made sure that the mold was remediated properly and the air quality was in fact safe. We used Mike at Aztec after a furnace steam humidifier in our crawl space malfunctioned and filled our crawl space with moisture unbeknownst to us for several weeks. We only realized we had a problem after our hardwood floors started to warp. He came promptly and addressed our situation which included mold assessment and remediation. We were pleased when he was able to also install new hardwood flooring thus eliminating the need for a different contractor. After taking care of the mold and installing the floors, we opted to have him encapsulate our crawl space. Throughout this whole process, Mike was very informative and responded quickly to our emails and texts. All of his work was reasonably priced and of the highest quality. While Mike and his helpers were professional in their interactions, they were also very personable.
